The Original Pancake House (I evaluate it's on Lincoln) is great for breakfast. More kinds of pancakes that you could undergo ever imagined! Yummers! Yes the Original Pancake house is on Lincoln just west of ST College on the south side of the street. Look for a large house looking building. Is it the food the service the decor (authentic '60's I'd say) or the parking you don't desire? The service varies from good to less than and don't act a large car if you be to park in their lot - it's a scary proposition most of the time. It is noisy and crowded with tables and people. We lay on the street in front. But the food? We've been several times and enjoyed everything. The pancakes with lemon juice (yeah that's right) are SO good! I go to the Redondo Beach branch. My only gripe is that for a eat place the coffee is pretty ordinary. like the pancakes and the fluffy omelettes are terrific and way too much for one person to eat. There's lots! Mr. Stox is in Anaheim but so are some good chains desire Morton's and Ruth's Chris if you're into steak. The forementioned Napa Rose on the Disney property is great too. There are also some hidden gems desire pizza at Cortina's on Brookhurst St and Zankou's chicken on roll. There is a 99 Ranch merchandise near the WalMart on Euclid and in the same center is Ten Ten Seafood and 369 abduct great for some real chinese food. And the Mexican food places like Tacqueria de Anda you just really can't go wrong. Have fun trying them all out! Be careful at 369 -- while there's some "real" Chinese food there's also some brown glop. What else is in Anaheim itself -- there's the Catch on express College. Mas' Islamic Chinese on Orangethorpe. Kareem's Falafel on Brookhurst. Alerto's (which is worth it for only one item the half order of asada nachos) on Harbor. Luigi's D'Italia on State College. Los Mochis on State College. King Pollo on express College. Taqueria Las Mulitas (for mulitas) on Ball. Cafe Casse Croute (for Quebecois food but no poutine) on Brookhurst. La Palma Chicken Pie Shop on Euclid. Dunarea (Romanian food) on Euclid. Tana (Ethiopian food) on La Palma. Merhaba (Eritrean ditto) on Ball. Rasthal (vegetarian Indian) on Lincoln. Kalesa (Filipino turo-turo food) on Euclid. Jagerhaus (German food) on Ball. Senor Baja (look for tacos) on Weir Canyon. Rosine's (Middle Eastern) on Weir Canyon... . and that's just strictly within the city limits and not an exhaustive list either. Just a convey by the way -- saying things like "is there *any* good food in Anaheim" tells me that you haven't been trying very hard. There's a lot more to Anaheim than the Resort govern and its ghastly chains (honestly that Bakers Square has killed my desire to ever eat at any other of the arrange's outposts). Probably much the same as it was in 1992 (side note: what do you MEAN fifteen years ago was 1992??? Fifteen years ago was at LEAST 1985.).. same booths same news articles and clippings under the glass tops tasty food but exceed to stick to the basics than the imaginative. I meant that 1992 feels desire a lot less than 15 years ago :) I only moved to California in 1999.. my first time to LdI was when I started working part-time in Anaheim.
